WHAT: St. Mogue's College Transition Year students and community are hosting a pop-up cinema in Templeport Resource Centre. Open from 7pm and film starting at 8pm. Small charge at door in aid of Make a Wish Foundation. Movie is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Refreshments served on the night. Raffle will also take place with lots of prizes to be won. Tickets can be purchased prior to film.
Vintage Cycle (High Nelly) for holy family school

WHAT: To mark his 80th birthday Greg O’Reilly will embark on a Vintage Cycle on his 1960’s Raleigh bike from his home in Fartagh, Lisduff, Virginia to The Bailie Hotel, Bailieborough on Friday, April 29. If anyone has a High Nelly and wants to join in, the meeting points will be at O’Neills Centra, Mullagh for 11.15/11.20am or Smyths Bar, Relaghbeg for 11.40/11.45am to the Bailie Hotel Bailieborough. All proceeds to Holy Family School Cootehill where his grandson Shaun attends.

Parkrun

WHAT: Con Smith Parkrun is a free, timed non-competitive 5k walk, jog or run. It happens every Saturday morning at 9.30am. Everyone is welcome at Parkrun. Walkers, joggers and runners of any fitness level. Push the pram or bring your dog on a lead. All you have to do is register, print your barcode and meet us at 9:30am every Saturday morning at the Cavan institute. It’s a great way to kickstart your weekend.
