Pedestrian dies after weekend collision
The man in his 20s who was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on the Trim Road on Sunday has died.
Gardaí at Navan are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward and are also appealing to any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam and were travelling on the R161 Trim Road near Balreask Cross between 1am and 1:45am on Sunday to make this footage available to them.

The pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a car near Balreask Cross in the early hours of Sunday and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment. The driver and sole occupant of the car was uninjured.
The road at the crash site was closed to allow for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators and local traffic diversions were in place for a time.
