Catch of the Day!

Mammoth pike, 17lbs 8 ounces and 94cm in length, was landed earlier this week.

A pair of French tourists visiting Belturbet had a day to remember on the Erne after landing what can only be described as a river monster.

Dorian and Vanilla Renard had been staying at Church View Guest House B&B in Belturbet when they went out on the river with local fishing guide Bruno Duboul.

The mammoth pike, 17lbs 8 ounces and 94cm in length was landed earlier this week.

Dorian and Vanilla were visiting Belturbet from Bordeaux.

The fish was released back into the water after the happy couple got some share-worthy photos of their incredible catch.

Father and son Stephane and Arthur also made some memories whilst out fishing this week with Bruno.
