Cavan Youthreach take dip in support of SOSAD

At least a dozen pupils attached to Youthreach Cavan arrived at Annagh Lake this morning to take a dip and raise awareness about mental health and local charity SOSAD.

The group were joined by members attached to the Annagh Lake Dippers.

Together they braved the cold, and celebrated the achievement after with refreshments.

Nathalie McCaul, Mental Health Coordinator with Youthreach Cavan lauded the efforts of the young people involved.

She said that mental health awareness was so important among younger generations in particular.
