Loreto College are All Ireland Champions

2020 and 2021 competitions were unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic

Loreto College are the Lidl All Ireland Post Primary School Junior A champions.

The Cavan school's team overcame the challenge of Mayo side, Sacred Heart from Westport, and in emphatic style with a 5-10 to 2-10 victory.

The Loreto College produced a dominant performance throughout, going in at half-time leading 5-5 to 2-6.

Though the wealth of scoring slowed in the second half, Loreto controlled the game well, with both sides adding to their spoils 5 points a piece.

Loreto have real pedigree in the Lidl All-ireland Post Primary Schools competitions and in 2018, they landed an All-Ireland double by winning the Senior A and Junior A titles.

The 2020 and 2021 competitions were unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and there is a palpable sense of excitement surrounding the 2022 Finals.
