Gladys Gertrude Mee
The death has occurred of Gladys Gertrude Mee (née Tilson) Gannons Cross, Belturbet, Cavan
Gladys Gertrude Mee (nee Tilson), Gannons Cross, Belturbet, Cavan, Monday, February 28, 2022.
Peacefully, in Oakview Private Nursing Home, Belturbet, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of the late William and loving mother of Albert, Victor, Kathleen, Pearl and John. Lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Wesley, sister Irene, nephews, nieces, relatives and all the family circle.
Resting at the home of her son Victor and daughter-in-law Shirley, Cloverhill, this evening, Tuesday, from 6pm until 8pm and again tomorrow, Wednesday evening, from 6pm until 8pm (walk through only, please).
House strictly private at all other times, please. Funeral Service in St John's Church, Cloverhill, on Thursday afternoon at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to St. John's Parish Church, Cloverhill and Daffodil Day c/o Clive Magee and William Foster Funeral Directors or any family member. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
James (Jimmy) O'Donnell
The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) O'Donnell
Oldfield, Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly Manorhamilton, Ballinrobe and Ballyjamesduff, and retired Ulster Bank. Pre-deceased by his parents Anthony and Nancy and his sister Bríd. Sadly missed by his loving family, his sisters Mary Kerrane, Catherine Brogan, and Ann de Paor, his brother Anthony, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family, former colleagues and friends.
Reposing in Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway on Wednesday, 2nd March, from 5pm until 6.30pm. Please note that the Funeral Home will be operating a Walk-Through policy for this reposing. Arriving to St. John the Apostle Church, Knocknacarra, Galway for Requiem Mass on Thursday, March 3, at 10.15am. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore.

Brian Brady
The death has occurred of Brian Brady 2 Swan Lake Drive, Loch Gowna, (formerly of Corfree) Monday, February 28, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen. Deeply regretted by his daughters; Sinead (Felim), Deirdre (Padraig), Fidelma (Paul), his son Patrick (Emer), adored grandchildren; Charlie, Jake, Darcy, Bobby, Sadie and Dolly, his brother Gerry, his sisters; Madge, Bridie, Una and Bernie, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Rest in peace.
He will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan, today (Tuesday, March 1), from 4pm to 7pm, followed by a private reposal to family only, at his daughter Deirdre's residence. Requiem Mass Wednesday, March 2, in the Church of The Holy Family, Loch Gowna to arrive for 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Bridie (Bridget) Willis
The death has occurred of Bridie (Bridget) Willis (née Cassidy) Mountdutton, Oldcastle, Meath / Cavan. Suddenly at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Kathleen and James Cassidy. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Bertie (Robert), son Derrick, daughters Olivia, Sharon and Pamela, partners Ann Marie, Shay, Craig and Niall, grandchildren Bailey, Dylan, Corey, Nicole, Rhiannon and Abbie, sisters Kathleen, Eileen, Peggy, Christina, Theresa, Anna, brother Liam, extended family, relatives and friends. May Bridie rest in peace.
Reposing in Gibney’s Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Brigid’s Church, Oldcastle. Burial afterwards in local cemetery. Annie McCaul (nee Duffy)
The death has occurred of Annie McCaul (nee Duffy), Coas, Tullynahinera, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Tuesday, March 1, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Annie, predeceased by her husband Phil, brothers Paddy and Oweny. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, sons Peter, Phil and Patrick, daughters Brigid, Rose and Ann, daughters in-law Una, Paula and Claire, sons in-law Patrick, Derek and John, brother Tommy, her twenty one cherished grandchildren, sisters in-law Moira, Maura and Kathy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends. May Annie’s gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Annie will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney on Thursday, March 3, from 3:30pm until 8pm. Annie’s funeral cortège will travel from her home in Coas on Friday morning (March 4) at 10:30am (via Paul’s Cross and Leanagh’s Cross) to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
