Ballinagh drugs find

A 30 year old male was charged following a significant drug seizure yesterday.

Yesterday, Tuesday, February 22, as part of Operation Tara, Gardai from the the Cavan/Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit searched a house under warrant in the Ballinagh area of Cavan.

They were assisted by members of Cavan Road Policing Unit and local uniform members. During the course of the search, a large quantity of cannabis cash was discovered.

One male in his early 30's was arrested and subsequently interviewed at Cavan Garda Station. This male has since been charged with offences in relation to the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
