Cavan-Sligo game off due to unplayable pitch
Division 4 tie has been postponed
Heavy rain overnight and continuing torrential conditons had led to the Division 4 meeting of Sligo and Cavan to be postponed.
A morning check by officials found the Markievicz Park surface unplayable.
Both Cavan and Sligo GAA tweeted the news.
A new date for the fixture has yet to announced.
The GAA says it's CCCC will confirm details of the rearranged fixture next week
The Sligo-Cavan bout is the second of the weekend's Allianz Football League games forced to postpone due to the adverse weather conditions.
The Division 3 game between Fermanagh and Laois postponed on Saturday.
