Lynda Barnes

The death has occurred of Lynda Barnes Drumroosk, Ballinagh Co Cavan, formerly of Dereham, Norfolk, England, peacefully on Saturday the 12th of February at the Beacon Hospital Dublin. Lynda will be sadly missed by her partner Michael Evans, her son Philip (Anne), daughters Joanne (Andy), Maria (Andy) and her adored grandchildren Eloise, Harry, Owen, Jasper, Chloe and Alfie, extended family neighbours and friends.

Claire Rita Fitzpatrick (née Young)
San Francisco (USA) and, Loch Gowna, Cavan
Claire Rita Fitzpatrick (nee Young) San Francisco (USA) and Loch Gowna. Passed peacefully from this world on February 9th, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband William in Ireland in 1980. Sadly missed by her adoring family; Peggy O'Donnell (Dennis), Kathleen Reilly (Eamon), Bill Fitzpatrick (Petra), Helen Dolan (Frank), John Fitzpatrick (Margaret), Timmy Fitzpatrick (Deirdre), Joan Fitzpatrick (Paul), adoring grandmother of 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Sadly missed by her devoted sister-in-law Molly and her many nieces and nephews in both California and Ireland.

Jerry Fleming
Roslea Rd, Clones, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Jerry Fleming, Roslea Rd, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Jerry passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital in the care of the staff surrounded by his loving family, Sunday 13th February. Beloved husband of Gabrielle and adored father of Annemarie (Stephen Morton, Belfast), Elaine (Neil Given, Belfast) and Brendan (Angela, Donegal). Devoted grandfather of Aoife, Maria, Cara and James. Jerry will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law (Coleman O'Callaghan), nieces, nephews, extended family, and by all who knew and loved Jerry.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Jerry's Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 15th February in Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, at 11am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Augherlane, Ballybay, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Paddy Gilmour, Augherlane, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. Saturday February 12th suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary. Paddy, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, daughter Angela (James), son Damien (Nisha), his two cherished grandsons Jamie and Leo, sister Kathleen Reilly (Castleknock), brother John (Portmarnock), brother in-law Matt, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Paddy will repose at his home today Sunday from 4pm until 8pm and again tomorrow Monday from 4pm until 8pm. Paddy’s funeral cortège will travel from his home on Tuesday morning at 10:15am, driving to O’Duffy Terrace, then proceeding on foot to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Ballybay for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. House private to family at all other times please.
Family flowers only please donations if desired to Ballybay Cancer Society C/o Wards Funeral Home or any family member.

Lisgall, Smithborough, Monaghan
Unexpectedly, at his home. Predeceased by his grandparents Kathleen and Paddy Leonard, grandfather Mick Boylan, uncle Ned Boylan (Scotstown), aunt Bridge Corr (Scotstown) and cousin Kieran McCarey. Dearly beloved son of Jimmy and Margaret, much loved brother of Fiona, boyfriend of Niamh (Dolan), brother-in-law of Kevin, adored uncle of Katie and grandson of Maureen Boylan.

Des McGonigle, Cleen, Knockvicar, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, formerly Clones, Co. Monaghan, February 12th 2022, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, and surrounded by his devoted wife and family. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Tessie and his first wife Pauline.
Des will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughter Joanne, sons Barry, Diarmuid, Daniel, Michael and their partners, sister Myra (Dublin) brother Finbar (Dublin) sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, former work colleagues, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence Cleen, Knockvicar, on Tuesday evening (February 15th) from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. (walk through please). Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Crossna, on Wednesday morning (February 16th) arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon.
