Cavan Sports Partnership and Irish Wheelchair Association Sport are teaming up to bring a new Multi-Sport Club to Cavan, starting this February.

Cavan Sports Partnership has partnered with Irish Wheelchair Association Sport in launching a multi-sport club programme for children with physical disabilities aged 5-15 years, with siblings also welcome, in County Cavan this spring.

The aim of the club will be to provide fun and inclusive opportunities, to allow participants to make new friends and remain involved in sport on a sustained basis, while offering a variety of games and paralympic sports for everyone to enjoy at their own level.

The programme will launch Tuesday, February 8, from 6pm-7pm at Stradone Community Centre and will run for eight weeks initially. Activities will include a mix of multi-sport sessions and training opportunities for parents and volunteers, supported by Irish Wheelchair Association Sport and Cavan Sports Partnership.
