Bus Éireann services impacted by Covid wave
It's urged people to check ahead.
Bus Éireann is reminding customers to plan their journeys and check for updates as the Omicron wave is impacting on services.
It says passengers should check the Bus Éireann website where a list of service disruptions is available and its Twitter feed.
It says it is "experiencing minor disruption as a result of Covid-related absences across its 17 depots" but it says the vast majority of services are going ahead as planned.
Bus Éireann says its team is working on a daily basis to manage absences and to prioritise delivery of services which minimise customer disruption.
The company says it "has robust Covid-19 mitigation measures in place, including having hand sanitising units available on-board and in stations, having touchpoint cleaning during the day and deep cleaning of buses overnight, as well as reminders to leave windows open".
Irish Rail has also warned of disruption to some of its services due to the number of cases of Covid being seen.
