Tánaiste meeting local businesses today

It's part of a series of engagements.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar is visiting the region today.

This morning he'll open the Food Hub in Ballybay before carrying out further engagements in the region.

He’ll meet with local businesses which were funded by Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Rural and Community Development.

He’ll be accompanied by local Minister Heather Humphreys.

As part of the engagements they’ll meet with businesses in Ballybay, Clontibret and Castleblayney.

It’s one of a number of ministerial visits to the region this month, with Health Minister Stephen Donnelly in Cavan last week, Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue in Ballyjamesduff this week and Taoiseach Micheál Martin visiting next week.
