Man dies after weekend crash

Gardaí have launched an investigation.

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Co Louth at the weekend.

The 22 year-old was seriously injured on the N2 outside Ardee on Saturday evening.

He later died in hospital.

Gardaí launched an appeal for information as part of the investigation into the incident, which took place at Edmonstown between 8pm and 8.30pm.

They’re particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was in the area at that time and who may have dashcam footage.
