More walk-in clinics announced for Cavan and Monaghan
The HSE has organised a series of walk-in vaccination clinics in Cavan and Monaghan Town aimed at young people.
Cavan COVID-10 Vaccination Centre, located at the Hotel Kilmore have scheduled a clinic for young people aged 12 to 15 years old this Friday, August 27 from 3.30-5pm.
Another walk-in clinic will be held at Cavan CVC on Saturday, August 28, for 12 year olds and older from 8.30am-12.30pm; and on Sunday, August 29 for 12 year olds and older from 8.30am-12.30pm.
From Monday August 30, walk-in clinics will be held every morning from 8.30am to 12.30pm. This will be monitored on an ongoing basis.
Monaghan Vaccination Centre
Monaghan Covid-19 Vaccination Centre, located at the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney, is operating the following clinics this weekend:
· Saturday 28th - A scheduled vaccination clinic for 12-15 years olds from 9am to 12.30pm.
· Saturday 28th- a walk-in clinic for anyone aged 16 and over from 1.30pm to 5pm.
· Sunday 29th - a walk-in clinic for 12-15 year olds from 9am to 12.30pm
· Sunday 29th- a walk-in clinic for anyone aged 16 and over from 1.30pm to 5pm.
· From Monday 30th – a walk-in clinic for anyone aged 12 and over from 9am to 5pm daily.
If you are attending the Walk-in clinic for your first vaccine and you are not already registered for your vaccine online, you will need to bring the following with you to the clinic:
Personal Public Service (PPS) Number, if you have one; Eircode; Mobile phone number; Email address; Photo ID - that has your date of birth on it.
Operational Site Manager at Cavan CVC Aisling Duffy said: “If you are attending for a Dose 2 Pfizer vaccine, you must have received your Dose 1 Pfizer vaccine a minimum of 21 days previous. Please bring your vaccination card and photo ID with you to the clinic.
Also if your Eircode begins with A82 and you live in County Cavan, you are welcome to attend the Walk-In clinics at the Cavan Vaccination Centre, Kilmore Hotel, Cavan, Monday to Sunday 8.30am-12.30pm, even if you have already received an appointment at a different Vaccination Centre.”
