Continuing its run of interesting interiors sales, Cavan-based auction house, Victor Mee Auctions has announced a one-day sale, the Summer Garden Sale, which will take place online today (Wednesday), August 4. As per its title, this sale will focus on all things outdoors and offer bidders a wide array of garden interior and furniture pieces that are sure to make a statement this summer.
Not shy of selection, the Summer Garden Sale will showcase almost 600 lots and will include highly sought after garden furniture, planters and statutory.
The Summer Garden Sale is wildly diverse in its offering, ensuring that there really is something for everyone, whether you prefer something antique or a more modern, quirky pieces of furniture or statutory. Stand out pieces include two of the auction’s oldest lots, a pair of William IV limestone gate piers and cast and wrought iron entrance gates. Each of these exquisite lots date back to the mid-1700s to early 1800s.
Looking for a unique talking point, lots 357 & 357A are ideal. This is an exceptional quality life-size bronze model of a giraffe, estimated to sell between €3,000 and €5,000.
