Boyle for Men gets ready for reopening
LAUNCH May 17 retail return much anticipated
Boyle for Men is one of hundreds of retailers all over County Cavan preparing to open their doors to the public after their extended Christmas holidays.
Phelim Pritchard has been working in the Cavan Town store for 50 years and is looking forward to the big re-opening next Monday, May 17.
Lorraine Boyle works in the Monaghan Town outlet and visited the Cavan store earlier this week to dress the window.
“We can’t wait to re-open and meet our customers again,” she said. Boyle for Men also has an outlet in Cootehill
They have been providing a ‘Click and Collect’ service this week and, throughout lockdown, facilitating appointments for those urgently requiring funeral wear.
“This Covid Lockdown is something that people never thought they would experience. The public are very eager to get back buying clothes and the phone is ringing every day,” said Phelim of the growing excitement.
“We have booked a lot of weddings in the past couple of weeks and we have no problem with supply,” he added.
Lorraine said it is now great to drive through the various towns and see shops and business owners preparing for re-opening and people, in general, are excited.
“People just want to get back to normal and treat themselves with new clothes. It has been a long haul over the past four months, just sitting in and going nowhere,” she said.
