The death has occurred of Mary Christina (Tiny) Rennicks, (nee Griffin), Drumrath, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and Late of Balrath Road, Kells, Co. Meath. Peacefully at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan. Predeceased by her Mother and Father Patrick and Mary, brother Tom, sister Ann (Connell). She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Fergus, sons Conrad and Paul, daughter Caroline, daughters in law Mary and Deirdre, son in law Eddie, grandchildren Amy, Stephen, Karl, Ellie, Mark, Killian, and Adam, two great-grandchildren Cianan and Niyha, brothers Patrick and John, sisters Kathleen (Collier), and Angela (Reilly), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mary (Minnie) Cooney (née McGee)

Waterloo, Bailieborough, Cavan

The death has occurred of Mary Cooney, Waterloo, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at her residence, on March 31st, in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John. Much loved mother of Mary, Breda, Rose, Paudie, Carmel, John, Michael and Paul. Deeply regretted by her loving sons and daughters, her brother John Magee, daughters in law, sons in law, sisters in law Lill Magee and Nan Magee, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, good neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at her residence until Easter Sunday, with removal to St. Mary's Church, Clanaphilip, for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral Mass will take place. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line the route of the funeral cortège, in a safe and socially distanced manner, as a mark of respect.

Margaret Moore (née Waller)

Cornaman, Kingscourt, Cavan

Margaret Moore (nee Waller), Cornaman, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, died 31st March, peacefully at her residence, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Brendan, parents Joe & Sara (Daisy) Waller, brothers John and Joe. Deeply regretted by her daughters Patricia Mc Guirk, Teresa Reilly, sons Brian, Barry and Colin, sons in law Martin and Michael, daughters in law Bernadette, Mary and Nicola, grandchildren Kerrie, Donna , Enda, Aidan, Jane, Aoife, Lian and Alannah, sisters Helen, Violet and Ivy, brothers Russell, Leslie and Robert, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends, relatives Maggie Smyth, Barbara and family, Caroline and family.

Funeral procession will leave her residence Friday morning at 9.40am to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, for funeral service at 10am link to Kingscourt parish webcam https://kingscourtparish.ie/watch-live/. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those who are standing along the funeral route. House strictly private please. John William (Billy) Noonan

Cornagarrow, Drung, Cavan / Garryowen, Limerick

John William (Billy) Noonan, Cornagarrow, Drung, Co. Cavan. Died 1st April 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of his family at his residence.

Will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, his daughter Sinéad (Eamonn), his son Liam (Emily), his adored grandchildren Molly, Bryony, Rosie and Jenna, brothers Alec, Gerard, Christopher, Declan and Brendan, sister Marian, mother in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral cortège to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Drung for removal service this Saturday at 6pm, with requiem Mass at 11am on Sunday with burial immediately afterwards in Drung Cemetery. In accordance with Government guidance Billy’s funeral will be limited to 10 people, but can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/Drung .

Those who are paying their respects along the route are asked to observe social distancing guidelines and keep everyone safe.

Katie (Catherine) McCaghey (née Marron)

Drumganus, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Katie (Catherine) Mc Caghey (nee Marron) - Founder of McCaghey Turkeys, Drumganus, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Thursday, 1st of April 2021, in her 102nd year, peacefully, in the loving care of her devoted family. Katie, predeceased by her husband James, sons Eamon & Gerard. Greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters - Tommy, Seamus, Ann, Peadar, Con, Pat, Ray and Mary, sons in-laws, daughters in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May Katie’s Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Katie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately in the presence of her family only (restricted to 10). Katie’s funeral cortège will travel from her home on Sunday 4th April, leaving at 11am, proceeding to St. Patrick’s Church, Broomfield, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The community of neighbours and friends are most welcome to pay their final tribute to Katie by lining the route in a socially distanced manner as her remains are brought from her residence at Drumganus to St. Patrick’s Church, Broomfield for 11.30am Requiem Mass on Sunday. Robert Lynch

Tooa, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Monaghan

Peacefully on Thursday, 1st April 2021, at home in the loving care of his devoted family. Robert will be dearly missed by his loving family, his wife Mary, sons Robbie and David, daughter-in-law Louise, his adored grandchildren Anna-may, David and Joey, sisters Betty (Jordan) and Rosemary (Chambers), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, the entire family circle and his many friends.

Removal from Conly's Funeral premises, Ballybay, on Good Friday at 6pm travelling via Ballybay, Tossey Cross, Lough Egish and onto his home.

Funeral Service on Saturday, 3rd April, in Crossduff Parish Church at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Robert, if so desired, to The Irish Kidney Association (Cheques made payable to same) C/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co.Monaghan or any family member. Eileen McCaul (née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Eileen McCaul (nee Kelly) Lurganboy, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Kinturk, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan. Predeceased by her husband Andy, April 1st 2021, suddenly and peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved mother of Kathleen, Aidan and Patricia, deeply regretted by her family daughter in law Teresa, grandchildren Mark, Aisling and Elisha, sister Anna McGrath, sister-in-law Teresa McGuirk, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Eileen will repose privately at her son Aidan’s residence, Lurganboy, amongst her family, due to COVID-19 restrictions. There will be an opportunity to pay respects by lining the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, from her son’s residence to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse, for funeral Mass on Easter Sunday morning at 10.30am. Eileen will then be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Andy in the adjoining cemetery.

John Rogers

Clontarf, Dublin / Artane, Dublin / Ballybay, Monaghan

Rogers, John (Clontarf, Artane and Ballybay, Co. Monaghan) – March, 26, 2021, peacefully at the Mater Hospital, beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Ciara, Rory, Donal and Aislinn: lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, his brother Kevin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, kind neighbours and his many friends.
