Water outage to hit parts of Cavan Town

An unplanned water supply outage will affect parts of Cavan Town from 10pm tonight until 9am Thursday morning.

A spokesperson for Cavan County Council explained it was necessary "in order to undertake essential maintenance works".

Affected areas will include: Railway Road, Barrack Hill, Highfield Road, Glenlara, Drumnavanagh and Swellan.

The local authority apologies for any inconvenience experienced by service users.
