It is with regret that we note the deaths of the following people from counties Cavan and Monaghan in the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Margaret(Maggie) Toher (née Kellagher)

Gortaclogher, Bawnboy, Cavan

Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband James and brother John Francis. Sadly missed by her daughters Maureen Lewis (Newtownbuttler), Alice Reilly (Roslea), Gearldine Owens (Corlough), Anne McManus (Crosdonney), Breege Prior (Dunboyne), Majella Lynch (Killashandra), Bernadette Reilly (Gortaclougher), sons Patrick (Killashandra) and Peter (Gortaclougher), sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece and nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her home today, Sunday, from 2pm until 9pm for family, neighbours and friends. All social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Removal on Monday to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, restricted to 25 people, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family appreciates your understanding sympathy and support at this sad time.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Brennan (née McCaffrey)

136 Mullaghmatt, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully, at home, in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her husband Packie. Sadly missed by her son Patrick, daughters Mary, Josephine and Irene, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, sister Nellie, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence. Removal on Monday (09/11/2020) at 10am, arriving (via Emyvale and Pullis) at St. Mary's Church, Glennan, for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Drumbanagher Cemetery.
