Major blaze at Oldcastle coop

A blaze has torn through Oldcastle Coop this evening. It is thought that the fire began at around 8pm at the home, garden and DIY store.

A local TD said that the fire could see jobs lost at the popular business.

Our colleagues at the Meath Chronicle quoted Deputy Johnny Guirke saying: "lt's sad to see a local business in flames on Halloween night, many people could lose their jobs and if this was started maliciously which puts our firemen at risk I would hoe that the gardaí can get to the bottom of this fire."
