Entry for Leaving Cert November exams extended

Following the announcement on Wednesday regarding errors found in the Calculated Grades process, the Minister for Education and Skills, Norma Foley, has requested the State Examinations Commission (SEC) to extend the entry process deadline for candidates to enter for the Leaving Certificate 2020 – November written examinations.

The Entry process for Leaving Certificate candidates, using the Calculated Grades Student Portal available at www.examinations.ie and at Gov.ie/leavingcertificate opened at 9am on Monday 28 September and was due to close at 5pm today, Friday 2 October 2020.

The closing date for the entry process for candidates to enter for the Leaving Certificate 2020 has been extended and the student portal will remain open until Wednesday 7 October 2020 at 5 pm.

The deadline has also been extended for Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA) candidates who may enter for examinations by emailing LCAexams2020@examinations.ie.
