Gallagher appointed FF Whip in the Seanad

Senator Gallagher is also Fianna Fáil Seanad Spokesperson on Justice and Equality.

Fianna Fáil Senator Robbie Gallagher has been appointed the Fianna Fáil Party Whip in the Seanad. Senator Gallagher will take up the role immediately.

He commented, “I am honoured to take up the responsibility of Whip for my Party in the Seanad. The first eleven weeks of the Government has seen much vital legislation move through both Houses of the Oireachtas.

“Supporting businesses and communities through the unprecedented crisis that is COVID-19 is our number one priority and this is reflected in our work in the Seanad.

“I look forward to working with my colleagues in Government and those in Seanad Éireann to ensure legislation is given a fair hearing and passed promptly,” concluded Senator Gallagher.
