Cavan's lotto luck keep rolling in

EuroMillions players in Kingscourt are this morning being urged to check their tickets after Tuesday night’s draw in Paris produced the Match 5 + Lucky Star winner.

Cavan is celebrating yet another lottery success, after one lucky lotto punter scooped a cool €265,150 in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Draw.

The latest Cavan winner was though just one number short of scooping €49million EuroMillions jackpot.

EuroMillions players in Kingscourt are this morning being urged to check their tickets after Tuesday night’s draw in Paris produced the Match 5 + Lucky Star winner.

This was the second big EuroMillions win for Co. Cavan in the space of a week, after another player in Baileborough bagged a EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 on Tuesday, July 28.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on Sunday, August 2 at the Applegreen service station on the Dublin Road in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers are: 01, 02, 05, 15, 42 and the Lucky Stars were 05 & 08.

There was no winner of Tuesday’s €49 million EuroMillions jackpot which means that Friday’s jackpot is now heading for a massive €65 million.

Bhupendre Choudhary, manager of the lucky Applegreen store in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan expressed his delight after learning that one of his customers had picked up such a huge prize in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw: “It’s another big EuroMillions win for Cavan and most importantly, this time one of our very own customers picks up this huge prize. We are absolutely delighted for them. The whole town will be buzzing this morning and no doubt we’ll have a lot of people in the store to check their tickets in the hope that they might be over a quarter of a million richer today!”
