Cavan Lotto winner nets €500,000
One lucky Cavan punter is celebrating today as the National Lottery announced there was one winner of the EuroMillions Plus top prize in the county.
The winning ticket sold in Cavan nets the top prize of €500,000. There was no winner of the monster €28.2million jackpot but over 47,000 players in Ireland won prizes.
The numbers drawn in the Plus draw were 03, 26, 32, 34 and 35.
Recently Lotto announced it was changing its Prize claim period back to 90 days. During the Covid restrictions, winners of draws from 9th January 2020 had 180 days to claim their Prize. Lucky winners of draws have 90 days to claim their Prize.
Prizes can be collected in the usual way from National Lottery retail agents and at An Post Claim Centres. The National Lottery asks all players to keep tickets safe, and to continue to heed the advice of Government and practice social and physical distancing when collecting Prizes.
On Saturday the National Lottery confirmed the €6.9 million Lotto jackpot was won in Cork
It was a bumper night for prize winners throughout the country in Saturday night’s Lotto draw which seen over 114,000 prize winners which also included one Dublin winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000.
The €6.9 million jackpot came agonisingly close to being shared by another two winners in Co. Louth and Co. Meath who share the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €67,446.
