Call for historic photos

Cavan County Museum is working to produce a new exhibition on the War of Independence. As part of this process, the Museum is hoping to expand its collection of images from period 1919 to 1921.

To assist them with this work, the museum team is looking for photographs or related material that private individuals may have in their possession.

Images will be treated with the utmost care and can be carefully scanned and returned. The Museum would be extremely grateful for the public’s assistance with this exhibition.
