Green Party leadership ballot deadline today
As of midday today, a total of 1,943 Green Party members have voted in the leadership contest.
The deadline for receipt of ballots for the Green Party leadership contest is 5.30pm today, July 22.
Ballots were issued to 2,336 Green Party members in the Republic of Ireland, and to 598 Green Party members in Northern Ireland.

Monaghan-native Catherine Martin is challenging Eamon Ryan, who has been leader of the party which recently entered coalition with Fianna Fail and Fine Gael, since May 2011.
A TD for the Dublin Rathdown constituency since 2016, Ms Martin has served as Deputy Leader of the Green Party since June 2011, and was recently appointed to the role of Minister for Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.
Deputy Ryan is serving Minister for Climate Action, Communications Networks and Transport.
The final count will take place tomorrow, Thursday July 23, with the result to be announced at 7pm.

The broadcast will be introduced by the Green Party's National Coordinator and chair of the leadership hustings Bláithín Gallagher, and the announcement of the vote will be made by the returning officers Meabh Cody and Harry McEvansoneya.
This will be followed by statements from the two leadership candidates, Ministers Ryan and Martin.
