The death has occurred of Angela (Angie) Burke (nee Oman), Ashgrove, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly Kildare Road, Crumlin and Ballymun, peacefully, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother Monica, her father Frank, her sister Kathleen (Stenson) and her brother Dominic. Deeply regretted by her husband Liam, her sons and daughters Mark, Annette, Ciarán, Ken, Paula, Andrew and Celine, her grandchildren Elaine, Carl, Jordan, Daniel, Aoife, Greta and Séan, her great grandchild Leighton, her daughters in law Ann, Linda and Maike, her sister in law Margaret, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and her large circle of friends and especially her dear friend Deirdre.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at her residence - Strictly Private, please. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff, followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Patient Comfort Fund at Cavan General Hospital and Cavan Palliative Care.

Angela's family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude the care and kindness shown to Angela by the staff of Cavan General Hospital and the Palliative Care team. Also, the wonderful support received from the Cavan Centre and the Crover House Hotel. Your help, support and kindness will never be forgotten.

Pearson Gerry, Ashfield, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan and formerly of Briarwood lawn, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15, Sat 11th July, peacefully, at his residence, in the loving care of his adoring family. Pre-deceased by his brother Albert. Beloved husband of Philomena, loving father of Gerald and Laura, grandson, Gearóid, brother, John, daughter-in-law, Sharon, son-in-law, Raymond, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of neighbours and close friends.

Due to HSE and Government regulations Gerry's funeral will be private to family only. His funeral cortège will be leaving his home to arrive at the church of the Holy Family Loch Gowna, on Mon 13th July, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Gerry's funeral will be broadcast live on Parish of Gowna and Mullinalaghta Facebook page. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired, to Palliative Care Cavan.

Bernard (Benny) Smyth

Handsworthwood, Birmingham, Kilcogy, Cavan

Bernard (Benny) Smyth, Handsworthwood, Birmingham and late Kilcogy Lr. Co. Cavan. Saturday July 11th 2020. Peacefully, at home, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving wife Una and family. Predeceased by his son Michael, sisters Molly (Dolan) Cloncovit, and Bridie (Carolan) Birmingham. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, wife Una, daughters Bernadette and Eileen, son James, son in law David and daughter in law Mary, grandchildren Kelly, Katharine, David and Michael, great-grandchild Tate, sisters Kathleen and Eileen and brother Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Formerly The Ramparts, Dundalk. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Brian, much loved mum of Dearbhla, Louise, Aoife, Liam, Eainne and the late Baby Niamh and mum to Craig, Katie and Carla, adored nanny of Alex and Noah, dear sister of Francis and David and daughter of the late John and Florence. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, children, grandchildren, brothers, sons-in-law Mark and Michael, sister-in-law Marie, nieces Victoria, Pentony, Wesleigh and Sophie, relatives and friends.

Due to continued restrictions on numbers at public gatherings, Sharon’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family and close friends only. Michael Hayden, "Magnolias", Kinturk, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath - July 10, 2020 (peacefully at home) in the loving and devoted care of his family.

Predeceased by his wife Betty (Née Clinton); he will be very sadly missed by his dear family Jennifer, Carol, Fionnuala, Suzanne, Robert, Alma, Elizabeth and Joanne, his adored grandchildren Jack, Billy, Ariane and Mia, daughter-in-law Siobhán, sons-in-law Ger and John, Liz's partner Nicholas, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Eddie, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
