Man due before court on €18k growhouse charge
A man is due to appear before a Cavan court sitting this morning charged in connection with the discovery of a growhouse.
A male aged in his 30's was arrested following a search of a residential property on Bridge Street, Belturbet, yesterday, June 11.
Up to four units of An Garda Siochana, including members attached to the Armed Support, raided the property at around 3pm.
Gardaí spent several hours after securing the scene and removing plants from the house.
During the course of the search €18,000 worth of cannabis (pending analysis) was seized.

“A male in his 30s was arrested and is due to appear before Virginia District Court tomorrow morning, 12th June.”
