Blustery day with heavy showers ahead
Today will be a cool, blustery day with widespread showers and some sunny spells. Some of the showers will be heavy and possibly thundery with a risk of hail, explain Met Éireann. Maximum temperatures 11 to 13 degrees with fresh to strong and gusty northwesterly winds.
Tonight it will become ahead of rain moving in with windier conditions. The rain will become widespread during the night. Cold with lows of 5 to 7 degrees in a fresh to strong northwesterly wind, with gales on coasts.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow morning, the rain will be heavy in generally dull and cloudy conditions and fresh to strong northwesterly winds. The rain will clear to showers as the winds decrease moderate to fresh, but the showers will be frequent. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
