Cavan native appointed partner at Matheson

 

Irish law firm Matheson has appointed four new partners to its company, including Cavan-native Dermot Powell in the area of Risk Management.

Mr Powell, a graduate of NUIG and St. Patricks College Cavan, will now act as Matheson’s General Counsel specialises in all areas relating to evaluating, monitoring, controlling risk related to the firm.

This includes compliance with laws and regulations applicable to law firms or their related entities.

Headquartered in Dublin and also has offices in Cork, London, New York, San Francisco and Palo Alto, Matheson’s clients include the majority of the Fortune 100 companies and we advise 7 of the top 10 global technology brands, 7 of the world’s 10 largest asset managers, and over half of the world’s 50 largest banks.
