Peter McCormack

The death has occurred of Peter McCormack (Botanic Park & The Botanic Gardens, Dublin and Pullakeel, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan). Beloved husband of the late Mary, was born in Pullakeel, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan in 1937 and passed away on the 2nd of March 2020, surrounded by the loving staff of Cara Care Nursing Home, Northbrook, Dublin.

He will be very greatly missed by his daughter, Dymphna, son-in-law Chevron, nieces, nephews, (especially Seamus, Ciaran and Padraig Flynn), relatives, friends and the staff of the nursing home (who laughed with us during Peter's happy times and cried with us during the final very sad moments).

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Friday evening from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Removal on Saturday morning from Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, at 10.30am to St Matthew's Church, Drumavaddy, to arrive for requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the old cemetery.

 

Pat Brady

The death has occurred of Pat Brady, Brady Brothers, Ballyhaise, Co Cavan, Tuesday, March 3rd; peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved husband of Rose and dear father of Mark, Niall and PJ. Predeceased by his brothers, Hugh and Sean. Deeply missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Adele, Amanda & Aideen, his adored grandchildren Lachlan, Donnacha, Ada & Hughie, his brother Michael, his sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday, 3pm to 9pm. Requiem Mass at St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise, on Thursday at 11am; interment afterwards in Castletara Cemetery.

House private today, Tuesday and on Thursday morning.

 

Nora Martin

The death has occurred of Nora Martin (nee Beggins) 44 Drumbannon, Bailieborough, Co Cavan, died 2nd March 2020, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the Lisdarn Unit Cavan. Predeceased by her husband James. Sadly missed by her family, daughters Peggy, Kathleen, Mary, Theresa, Ann, Noreen, Eileen, Phyllis and Caroline, sons Christopher, Michael, Gerry and Paddy, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbors and friends.eposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough, on Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm. Removal from her residence on Thursday morning at 10.30am (on foot) to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Bailieborough, for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Anne’s Cemetery.
