Mains leak reported in Cavan Town

 

Cavan County Council have issued an alert in relation to a major mains water leak on the Cock Hill are of Cavan Town.

As a result, businesses and households in the vicinity of Main Street will experience disruption to water supply today, the local authority claim.

Cavan County Council crews have already being working throughout the night to identify the fault and “having located the source of the leak, will make every effort to complete the repair work as quickly as possible and to minimise disruption.”

The spokesperson added: “Cavan County Council, operating on behalf of Irish water, apologises for any inconvenience.”
