Local business hit by invoice fraud

Two reports of Invoice Fraud at a local business in the past week are the latest in a growing number of such incidents across the region. It’s understood that the company involved lost a large amount of money, believed to be in the thousands, after receiving a fraudulent email that requested electronic payment for goods through a new account.
