Six burglaries in one night

Local gardaí dealt with reports of six burglaries in one night last week, with five of the break-ins occurring in a single residential area in Cavan Town.
Five homes were broken into in the Earlsvale area, Drumalee, on Thursday, January 18, with the incidents occurring between 7-9pm, and raiders making off with sums of cash in various amounts.
On the same evening, gardaí also attended a break-in at a house in the Fairview area, where the backdoor was damaged to gain entry, and another burglary in the Meadow Park estate.
Gardaí suspect the incidents at Earlsvale and Fairview could be linked.
Two days later, between January 18-19, gardaí dealt with reports of two more burglaries: at a house on Glenside Drive between 4-6pm; and at Lizzy Buggies Bar in Ballyconnell.
In several of the incidents the bar doors of properties were forced open.
