Appeal for missing teen

Gardaí are appealing for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a teenager missing from her Belburbet home since St Stephen's Day.

Cristina Ciurar (16) was last believed to have been in the company of her boyfriend, and could be in Northern Ireland, say Gardaí.

Described as approximately 5ft 8” in height with long brown hair and brown eyes, when last seen she was wearing a cream skirt and a green jacket.

Her boyfriend, the authorities add, has access to a red VW Golf car.

There were no updates in relation to the missing person's appeal as of Friday morning.
