Cavan Branch of the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland supports people and their families living with Parkinson’s Disease by providing information, organising outings/ events, inviting speakers to our events plus highlighting & lobbying for more services and nursing staff for County Cavan.
Drumlin House Training Centre was established in 1982 by a voluntary management committee as a not-for-profit service provider for people with intellectual disabilities. Currently a service is provided for 87 adults with intellectual disabilities across three programmes; Rehabilitative Training, Structured Occupational Services and a LINK Day Service Programme.
The annual Cavan Christmas Dash has been steadily supported each year with between 5-600 participants taking part.
To date, ten charities and groups have shared a total over €60,000 raised.
