Footwear firm to create 10 jobs

A new shoe sales company is set to create 10 permanent jobs in the region. Folkston Shoe Company are investing over €750,000 with the official opening of a new store in Cavan Town next month.

The business is set to open at Unit 3 at the Moynehall Business Park, which is currently undergoing significant refurbishment. A spokesperson for the company confirmed to The Anglo-Celt this week: “Folkston Shoe Company is coming to Cavan Town this October. “We are currently undertaking a huge renovation of the existing premises to bring it to the highest standard in footwear retailing.” The spokesperson added: “We will be investing €750,00 in the project bringing 10 permanent jobs to the region.”
