Series of break-ins to vehicles

Gardaí in Cavan are understood to be following a definite line of inquiry following a series of break-ins and attempted thefts from vehicles parked at various locations along the N3.
The incidents all occurred on July 11 last, when work vans in particular were targeted at the Hotel Kilmore, the Kilmore Business Park in Cavan Town, as well as Lisgrey House near Virginia. Anyone with information in connection with the incidents is asked to contact gardai in Cavan on 049-4368800.

Laptops stolen in burglary

Gardaí are seeking information in connection with a break-in at a house in the Creighan Drive area of Cavan Town.

The break-in occurred on Monday, July 9, during which laptop computers and equipment was taken. The offence is understood to have occurred between 9am and 2.30pm.
Meanwhile, gardai are appealing for witnesses to suspicious activity following an attempted break-in at a house in the Knockmore area of Corlough. The incident occurred between July 8-10. Anyone with information is asked to contact gardai in Cavan on 049-4368800.
