Arrests after thefts from Cavan shop

 

Two juveniles will appear before Carrickmacross District Court this morning charged in connection with the theft of expensive household cleaning equipment from a shop in Cavan Town yesterday evening, June 19.

Local gardai reacted and swooped on a van carrying two young males who had entered a large electrical store in the Cavan Town area shortly before 6pm. The duo stealing four Dyson vacuum cleaners, to the value of €1,200, before making their escaoe.

Reacting to reports of the theft, gardai stopped the van carrying the crew, and arrested the two males as well as the driver of the van.

They will appear charged before Carrickmacross District Court later this morning.
