OPW takes possession of former bank in Bailieboro for new Garda headquarters

The Office of Public Works (OPW) has taken possession of the National Irish Bank building in Bailieborough for the development of the new regional Garda headquarters.

A delighted Fine Gael Senator Joe O'Reilly confirmed the news to The Anglo-Celt this afternoon following the completion of the contracts for the sale of the building.

Local Fine Gael councillor Carmel Brady also welcomed the conclusion of the sale.
