Prolific Virginia author pens sixth book
Prolific Virginia author Keith Armstrong has published his latest thriller, ‘Get a Proper Job’, the sixth novel written by him since 2013.
The latest offering from the creative Drumgora based author and writer tells the story of a stand-up comedian, Carter Dean, who is learning his craft touring the clubs in the north of England. Fast gaining in popularity, everything seems to be going well in his career - that is until a vocalist on the same billing as he is is found murdered.
Dean is taken in for questioning, soon after which it’s discovered three other singers who were murdered, similarly have all appeared on the same bill as him too.
Dean is the number one suspect when more vocalists are found dead. The gripping page turner comes to life as the burgeoning comedian endures police intimidation as he bids to try and prove his innocence.
“This is a story with plenty of laughs from his performances, but overshadowed by the terrible deaths of his associates as the action moves from the north of England to Ireland in this fast moving tale,” says Keith, who has remained busy since publishing his first book, ‘A Day at the Races’.
Received particularly well, soon after Keith followed that up with the release of his other books, ‘Sand Dollar Logistics’; ‘Colonel Smythe’s Daughter’’ ‘The Hunt For Larry Roberts, Master Forger’; and ‘The Cruise Family Connection’.
‘Get a Proper Job’ is on sale at Eason’s in Cavan, and is available on Amazon as a paperback or Kindle via download.
