Man arrested in connection with Ballyjamesduff murder
Gardaí investigating the murder of a 40-year-old man in Ballyjamesduff on Sunday, December 31 have arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with this investigation.
Marek Swider, who worked on a pig farm, died from stab wounds, reportedly after a dispute over a cards game.
Gardaí arrested a man in connection with the death in Cork City centre early this morning (Thursday, January 4). He is currently detained at the Bridewell Garda Station in Cork under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984. Investigations are continuing.
