Bronze medal for Cavan athlete at European Youth Olympics

Cavan athlete, Jade Williams has won a bronze medal at the European Youth Olympics.  Jade, representing team Ireland in the Hammer throw, continued her successful run this year by securing third place with a throw of 58.62 metres on Tuesday.  The second day of the EYOG in Budapest saw Team Ireland bring home three medals.  A native of Bailieborough, Jade added the bronze medal to Gold at the Tailteann games in June, and a silver medal at the SIAB games in July of this year.  Jade is  transition year student at Bailieborough Community School.
