Woman hospitalised following Virginia Crash

A woman in her 60s was taken to and treated at Cavan General Hospital following a two-vehicle collision near Virginia on Monday last, July 10.
The incident occurred on the Ballyjamesduff Road at around 2pm, forcing the closure of the road between Virginia Town and Dunanchory Bridge and diversions via the N3. The road re-opened later on Monday night. Gardai are continuing to investigate the traffic collision.
