Open viewing in Cavan Town housing estate this Saturday

New build homes are returning to the Cavan Town housing market after a prolonged absence. Estate Agents O'Reilly, Taylor & Tweedy host an open viewing for units at Creighan Manor tomorrow (Saturday) June 3.

Creighan Manor is a well established estate on the outskirts of Cavan town where units were first made available to the market in 2007. This attractive estate is on an elevated site and boasts a pleasant view of the rolling drumlins that are very much a part of the character of Cavan. The open viewing is of the latest addition to the tastefully designed, thoughtfully planned and conveniently located homes on the Dublin side of the county town.
With a contemporary design, these four-bedroom, semi-detached homes are impressive. Each house has been carefully designed and built to a high finish. Homes are on spacious sites with pleasing landscaping.
Marin O'Reilly of selling agents, O'Reilly, Taylor And Tweedy, says that there has been great interest in the viewing: “It is a well established development and this offering is six detached units. At the moment there are two four-bedroom, semi-detached houses under construction. DB Construction have also built two from base up and we have the sale agreed on them. They are now in the process of building two more. This really does represent excellent value for money for four-bedroom homes in a prestigious estate, close to Cavan Town centre.”
Creighan Manor has all the amenities for an enjoyable lifestyle, being just a stroll away from Cavan Town centre. Within comfortable walking distance, you will find a supermarket, petrol station, restaurant, pub, retail park, supermarket and electrical stores. There are no less than five primary schools are located within two miles. Creighan Manor lies to the Dublin side of Cavan, easily linking to the new M3 motorway.

Martin says that it is refreshing to see the return of new built homes to the market: “These are the only 'new build' development houses in the Cavan town urban area, but home building is returning to the town. This may be the only one at the moment, there is scope for more houses construction, particularly semi-detached.”
The Estate Agent says that resurgence of the market is directly linked to finance: “Things are on the up, the banks are a bit more relaxed about lending. It helps more than just builders, all contractors, like architects, plumbers, electrician - anyone part of the overall project - will benefit from it.”
The open viewing will be held on Saturday June 3 between 12 noon and 2pm. Martin says that this may be just the start: “If this one goes well we will be hoping to hold another in July or August.”
