Celebration for the Homeless

What: Fr. Peter McVerry will celebrate Mass on Saturday, March 18 in St. Bernard’s Church Abbeylara at 7.30pm followed by refreshments afterwards in the Parish Centre. Fr Peter will be presented with the proceeds from the New Year’s Eve Celebration for the Homeless. Everybody welcome.

What: St Patrick's Weekend Fun/Run/Walk at Castlesaunderson Scout Centre on Sunday, March 19 from noon. Assemble at the centre from 11.45am before start. Event will be followed by breakfast rolls (€2) and tea, as well as music from local musicians.
Sponsorship cards available from any committee member, all children must be accompanied by an adult, and dogs must be kept on a lead. Spot prizes on the day for all participants.
