McGleenan: 'No reason why game couldn't be called off at 10am'

Cavan supporters who made the trip to Omagh were left disappointed today as the scheduled Cavan v Tyrone match was called off due to an unplayable pitch.
Heavy rainfall in the 24 hours leading up to the game had rendered the field unplayable but the official call was not made until 1.25pm, just 65 minutes before throw-in time.
Cavan manager Mattie McGleenan expressed a slight frustration that the call was made so late in the day.
'The conditions over the last 24 hours have been ridiculous so I think honestly for supporters coming from Cavan, making a journey to this game, certainly there was no reason why we couldn't call this at 10 O'Clock this morning,' he said.
'There's very little you can do, there's no club can give you a football field. We had great preparations for this game, we were looking forward to seeing Tyrone today but listen, that's the way football goes.
'We have Donegal next week and that's another huge game - we have to get a result and it's very, very important that we get back to the drawing board and prepare for Donegal now.'
