Missing Cavan man found safe

A man missing from the West Cavan area for the past two-weeks has been located safe and well, according to Gardai.

Shane Dolan (28) from Cortoon, Corlough was last seen shortly after 6pm on Sunday, October 16 whilst walking on the road between Bawnboy and Ballyconnell.

Gardai this week issued an appeal for any information for the young man's whereabouts after his family expressed concern for his safety.

Its understood that Shane was located in the Longford Town area earlier this morning, and both gardai and the family of Mr Dolan would like to thank the public for their assistance on the matter.
