New SuperValu to open in Kingscourt

The expansive new €5m O’Gorman’s SuperValu in Kingscourt will be officially opened this Thursday, October 27.  The new store will employing up to 45 people, a 50% increase on the numbers employed in the old Kingscourt store.
There will be plenty of in-store offers this week to mark the occasion.
Located in the town on the Kells Road, the new retail outlet is a major boost to the vibrant shopping town of Kingscourt.
The fact that this announcement coincides with the building of the new second level college in the town and soon-to-be-delivered off-street car parking, the town is set for a bright future.
Local radio station Northern Sound will broadcast from the supermarket on Friday, with many prizes to giveaway; while a family fun day will be hosted in-store on Saturday.
