McGleenan is new Breffni boss

Mattie McGleenan will be ratified as the new manager of the Cavan senior footballers at tonight's county board meeting.
The former Tyrone forward, who scored a goal against Cavan in the 1995 Ulster SFC final, has led Scotstown to three Monaghan SFC crowns in the last four years and previously managed St Patrick's College, Armagh - where he is Head of PE - to a first MacRory Cup triumph in 47 years.
The appointment of McGleenan brings to an end Cavan's nice-week search for a successor to Terry Hyland, with Seamus McEnaney and Jack Sheddy understood to have been interviewed for the role.
McGleenan's Scotstown, beaten after eatra time by Crossmaglen in last year's Ulster final, take on Down giants Kilcoo in the first round of the Ulster Club Championship
